Abstract: Access2Sea aims at improving the attractiveness of the European Atlantic Coastal Area for Aquaculture Activities, facilitating a more sustainable access to Business Opportunities for the sector.

This project, started on March 2019 and will be run by 9 organizations from 5 different EU countries, gathering 4 research organizations, being CIIMAR one of them, 3 business support organizations and 2 development agencies over the next 3 years, to work on various fields such as space planning, technology transfer, business models and social acceptance of aquaculture, providing methodologies and support to SMES, in order to facilitate the Access to the Sea to new and existing aquaculture businesses.
