Workshop Underwater Photography
On the 28 and 29 of November we will have a two-day Workshop on Underwater Photography with Nuno Vasco Rodrigues.
Nuno is one of Portugal’s leading underwater conservation photographers with several winning awards, and with his work displayed in magazines such as National Geographic Portugal.
The workshop is intended for those who would like to learn the basics on underwater photography, and to improve your underwater photographic skills. Having good pictures is after all important for scientific divulgation. The workshop includes both a theoretical and practical part. On the first day we have theory in the morning and a dryland practical session in the afternoon. The second day includes a wet session (5 m deep swimming pool). You will learn to manually adjust certain camera settings, such as aperture and shutter speed, and how to use these accordingly.
When: 28-29 of November
Price: 50 € for non-student, 35 € for students
Number of participants: min. 6 – max. 10
- Minimum Open Water Diver
- Active Dive Insurance
Participants are encouraged to bring their own dive gear (excluding dive cylinder and weight belt) and photo camera with adjustable manual settings, and underwater housing if you have. If you don’t have an underwater housing, no problem, bring the camera anyway, as we also have a dryland session.
Registration: Please confirm your participation by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. After sending the registration email you will be sent the payment information. After the payment has been made, the respective proof of payment must be sent back in order for the registration to be fully completed.
And let us know the following questions:
- Do you have a surfsuit/wetsuit/drysuit, BCD, fins?
- If you can bring your own manual camera?
- If you can bring an underwater housing for your camera?
We hope to see you at the Workshop!
