Title: Ergomarine Concept - New methods in shellfish production

 

ERGOMARINE project is promoted by Ernesto São Simão company (ESS) and is funded by the Blue Growth Program of the EEA Grants. ESS committed to studying and optimizing the ergonomic aspects of oyster and shellfish aquaculture throughout its value chain, in dialogue with producers and the scientific community. Through Ergonomics, we intend to improve working conditions and increase the efficiency and quality of oyster production.

 

Name: Isidro Blanquet

 

Isidro Blanquet has more than 30 years of experience in marine aquaculture of fish and bivalves. With a degree in Biology from FCUP and a Master's degree in Marine Resources from ICBAS, he is truly passionate about aquaculture and the nobility that this activity represents as a source of food for humanity.

 

The seminar will take place at CIIMAR headquarters (Boca da Baleia Auditorium).
