Technology Offer Model

 The program is aimed at teams composed by one researcher responsible for the creation of a technology with unique characteristics that can meet a specific market need; and one doctoral or master's student who is working within the same technology.

The Business Ignition Program will include:

- Immersion sessions in commercialization of technologies, Business Model Canvas and Customer Development.

- Mentoring sessions - sessions where the mentors will be present for guidance and facilitation on the business model and its market validation.

- Final session - presentation of the developed works and business models by the selected teams, open to the public.

Open applications for the BIP (Business Ignition Programme)

BIP – Business Ignition Programme – is a programme developed by CIIMAR, UPIN and INESC TEC to support the development of business model for technologies span out of the academy. The programme aims to identify market opportunities for potential products / services resulting from research, provide the participants with the necessary skills for the valorisation and commercialization of technologies, and help the creation of new technology-based business opportunities.

Applications with novel technologies or business ideas (products, processes or services) should be send to bip@ciimar.up.pt through the completion and submission of the Technology Offer Model
