On 13 July, a cooperation agreement was signed between CIIMAR and Chouaib Doukkali University (UCD) in El Jadida, Morocco. Presiding at the ceremony were Professor Yahia Boughaleb, Rector of Chouaib Doukkali University, and Professor Vitor Vasconcelos, Chairman of CIIMAR's Board.
The ceremony was preceded by presentations by the two institutions, in particular the H2020 EMERTOX project, coordinated by CIIMAR and of which the UCD is a part, and by a common interest exchange meeting in various areas such as research, teaching and innovation.
