On September 24th CIIMAR received the PPS2 meeting of the ValorMar project.

 

"ValorMar project – Integral valorisation of marine resources"  is a project focused on the consumer market that aims to promote the technological development, the design of pilot demonstrations and the creation of specific competences in companies, strengthening their capacity for growth in the valuation of marine resources.

 

The objective is to value and promote the efficient use of natural endogenous resources and the development of value chains associated with marine resources. Thus, it intends to materialize the strategic guidelines of the Cluster “Mar Português” in the development of the main value chains that use the marine resources as central elements of their activity and propose innovative solutions for the creation of new healthy food products, using sustainable and efficient technologies.

 

The ValorMar project – Integral valorisation of marine resources (24517, 10/SI/2016 - Mobilizing R&TD Programs, Portugal 2020) is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and by the European Social Fund (ESF).
