AQUA 2018 Session Summaries

AQUA 2018 took place in Montpellier between August 25-29. This event celebrated the fact that aquaculture is one of the most important food production industries in the world and the most efficient producer of high-quality food, contributing to the global health and wealth.
The AQUA 2018 comprised a scientific comference, world press day, trade exhibition, industry forums, workshops, student events and receptions. It was attended by more than 3000 participants from 109 countries. The event highlighted the latest aquaculture research and innovation to underpin continued growth of this exciting food production sector.
During the AQUA 2018, the CIIMAR researcher Luísa Valente took office as an elected member of the EAS (European Aquaculture Society) board of directors.
AQUA events are co-organized by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) and are held every six years. The AQUA 2018 Compilation of Session Summaries is available here.
