CIIMAR participated on the Kick off meeting of the project BLUEBIOLAB, funded by the POCTEP cross-border program, on July 23, at the University of Vigo, Spain.

 

The BLUEBIOLAB project - Transboundary Marine Biotechnology Laboratory, is led by the University of Vigo-Campus do Mar, which also has the participation of CIIMAR and of the University of Minho - 3Bs. On the Spanish side, it also has the participation of the universities of Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, the Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Spanish Institute of Oceanography.

 

The overall objective of BLUEBIOLAB is to create a cross-border marine biotechnology research laboratory that will enhance the ability to develop R&D excellence, internationalize the R&D competences on the territory, optimize the use of research infrastructures and contribute to the future results expected by RIS3, RIS3T and the blue growth strategy
