CIIMAR researchers carry out mission in Peru under the European TOXICROP project to characterize the cyanobacterial community and the occurrence of cyanotoxins in the Andenean Plateau region. Together with colleagues at the University of San Agustin de Arequica, Peru, the researchers traveled to the 4600 meters to study the water quality of the Andean Altiplano, El Pañe and Aguada Blanca reservoirs.
