The CIIMAR researcher Cristina Calheiros has been recently at University of Saint Joseph - Macau SAR collaborating in the Master in Environmental Sciences and Management of the Institute of Science and Environment. The module of Environmental Technologies comprised several technical visits including to the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Macao and the Macao Refuse Incineration Plant. This collaboration extents to the supervision of one master thesis and a PhD thesis.

Also, Cristina was instructor in the Lifelong Learning DSEJ Training Programme: Environmental Education and Awareness for teachers and gave a presentation on the 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action of The Climate Reality Project.
