20 years after its foundation, CIIMAR is today a national and international reference in research in the sea and environment, working on the frontier of knowledge, innovation and sustainability of the Oceans. Surpassing 500 researchers already, CIIMAR stands out for its interdisciplinary scientific mission and today covers areas of scientific, technological, economic, business development and support for public and government policies, also assuming an important commitment to environmental and Ocean. Last week CIIMAR celebrated its 20th anniversary with a 20 years photo exhibition.
