CIIMAR collaborates in the donation of protective articles to health professionals in the first line of defense against COVID-19.

More than 39 thousand gloves, about 4600 masks and other personal protective materials were collected between the colleges and research centers of the University of Porto, to donate to the Hospitals of São João and Santo António, two of the health units that struggle daily againts the COVID-19 pandemic. Altogether there are more than 436 thousand articles - including gowns, shoe protection, eye protection, caps, gloves, masks and full protection suits - provided by the different colleges and research centers of the U.Porto, including CIIMAR.
