CIIMAR recently joined The Porto Protocol, an initiative that was born out of the world of wines but that  has become a commitment to protect the climate. The Porto Protocol's goal is to build an open and dynamic platform of viable ideas and solutions to combat the progress or effects of climate change. In the case of CIIMAR, this contribution consists of a “Nature Based Solutions” project (solutions based on nature), focused on water management and promotion of ecosystem services through Green Roofs and Floating Islands.
