A month after celebrating its 20th anniversary on February 29, 2020, CIIMAR reviews the good memories of the amazing celebrations that continue to provides us joy and good energy during these concerned times with the COVID-19 pandemic .

 

Integrated in the celebrations, CIIMAR organized a Team Building Day, a Celebration Dinner Party and the international SOS conference "Sustainable Ocean Strategies" at CIIMAR, Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões, with the participation of several world references conservation of the oceans like Nuno Vasco Rodrigues, Nancy Knowlton and Peter Heffernan. The message was focused on our links to ocean biodiversity, optimism and reasons for hope for our Ocean Planet, aiming at the same time to strengthening our team spirit and institutional image.
