New enzymatic reaction with biotechnological potential at CIIMAR

Researchers at CIIMAR discover an enzyme produced by cyanobacteria with unprecedented biotechnological potential.
After studying the mysterious disappearance of compounds produced by these microorganisms under certain conditions of growth, the research group on Cyanobacteria Natural Products, discovers a new mechanism of biochemical transformation never before described. The study is now described in the journal Nature Communications.
