Within the scope of the CETUS project, and in collaboration between CIIMAR and the Portuguese Navy, four cetacean observers boarded into the hydro-oceanographic vessel D. Carlos I during the last 62 days of mission. Several specimens of the species were observed: Balaenoptera borealis, Physeter macrocephalus and Grampus griseus.
