CIIMAR and the Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests (ICNF) signed a collaboration protocol

This protocol aims to frame and promote scientific and technical collaboration and cooperation between ICNF and CIIMAR in preparing opinions on issues related to Nature Conservation and Biodiversity in Portugal. In addition, the protocol also agrees to establish the creation of a residency program, the organization of an annual program with a set of activities between ICNF and CIIMAR, the development of a scientific studies program, the development of an internship program and postgraduate training and collaboration in multidisciplinary research projects.

 

The ceremony took place on the 3rd of September in Esposende, with the protocol being signed by Vitor Vasconcelos, director of CIIMAR, by Isabel Sousa Pinto, member of CIIMAR's board of directors and by Sandra Sarmento, director of the Northern region of ICNF. Also present at the ceremony was the Secretary of State for Nature Conservation, Forests and Spatial Planning, João Paulo Catarino.
