CIIMAR launches is new Educational Offer for 2020/2021

 

The Educational Offer here presented is part of CIIMAR´s extensive and exciting Outreach Programme addressed to all society sectors.

 

This broad educational offer, under the responsibility of CIIMAR Communication Office, includes guided visits to CIIMAR, practical activities and lectures (presential or online), and field activities (e.g. beach cleaning and observation of intertidal biodiversity). All activities are interconnected with the curricula of the different school cycles, allowing the correlaction of these curricula to CIIMAR's areas of work and research, contributing to an increase in scientific knowledge, as well as the Ocean Literacy of the participants.

 

This program also includes the participation of several CIIIMAR researchers, in online conversations between schools, students and CIIMAR scientists, on current research topics carried out in the areas of Marine and Environmental Sciences.

 

All activities will follow Covid-19 security norms and are available under appointment to divulgacao@ciimar.up.pt.
