On the day that celebrates 30 years of existence, April 13 2021, the collection of cyanobacteria and microalgae LEGE-CC from the CIIMAR-UP, already gathers 1200 copies between cyanobacteria and microalgae, in an authentic library of marine and freshwater organisms. 

 

Currently, the LEGE-CC collection is recognized worldwide through the platforms EMBRC - European Marine Biological Resource Center, MIRRI - Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure and EU-OPENSCREEN - European Infrastructure of Open Screening Platforms for Chemical Biology. Through these platforms the collection is accessible to researchers around the world, making it possible to maximize its potential in the investigation of new products of natural origin.
