The biannual meeting of the coordination and technical committees of the Agritox project - PREVENTION AND MITIGATION OF THE MYCOTOXIN CONTAMINATION OF FOOD AND FEED CAUSED BY CLIMATE CHANGE, organized by CIIMAR and FCUP, took place on the June 1st 2021 in a morning session that was attended by all consortium partners.

 

This morning meeting, was followed by an afternoon transnational workshop, organized by CIIMAR in a webinar mode, that was attended by 41 participants. In this workshop, the Portuguese partners (FCUP/CIIMAR and Cooperativa Agricola de Vila do Conde) presented their recent data on the contamination by fungi and micotoxins of macroalgae and fish feed (CIIMAR/FCUP) and of forage and milk (CAVC), the Food Fortress program presented their strategy to prevent human health risks and the University of Santiago de Compostela talked about alert methods for viverse type of toxins including micotoxins.
