CIIMAR is one of the 18 international partners that integrate the Ponderful project (POND Ecosystems for Resilient Future Landscapes in a changing climate), financed by the EU's H2020 program, with the aim to investigate and maximize the use of ponds as a nature-based solution to mitigate the effects of climate change.

 

On June 10th, the launch event of Ponderful took place with 500 participants from 40 countries and the participation of several international experts. During the event, the main objectives of the project that will take place over the next four years were presented.

 

Ponderful brings together researchers from 9 European countries, as well as Turkey and Uruguay. CIIMAR is co-responsible for project communication. To know more about the project please follow the link.
