Professor Helayne Maieves from the Federal University of Pelotas, Brasil visited CIIMAR in the scope of the Capes PrInt UFPel international cooperation project framed in the research group "Foods Cultivated in Built Substrates".

Professor Helayne's visit to Portugal was extremely important for establishing the international partnership and planning future work, promoting networking and knowledge exchange. Within this framework a strategic meeting was held at CIIMAR with researcher Cristina Calheiros to work on the cooperation agreement, as well as technical visits to implemented projects.
