The CIIMAR researcher Fernando Durães, PhDstudent at FFUP wons the best presentation award at the 7th International Electronic Conference on Medicinal Chemistry. Congratulations Fernando!

His doctoral research focuses on the development of small molecules with a potential to circumvent bacterial resistance mechanisms. The authors of this presentation are engaged in a multidisciplinary project, aiming to discover new antibacterial molecules from marine sources and/or compounds that can inhibit bacterial efflux pumps.
