The commission services from CIIMAR for the ERGOMARINE project is now at its final stage with the start of an in situ test to evaluate the performance of Ergomarine products for the oyster farming sector.

 

CIIMAR researchers are evaluating the biological parameters of the oyster, namely growth, quality, shape, condition and survival. 

 

Other work already completed within this partnership involved the assessment of marine biofouling on Ergomarine structures in marine and estuarine environments, and a laboratory test to assess the physiological conditions and welfare of oysters in Ergomarine production systems.
