The CIIMAR researchers Francisco Taveira Pinto and Daniel Clemente were elected president and vice-president of the Young Professionals Network of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) Portugal.

 

The team was completed with two more members - Solange Mendes and Diogo Mendes, from Instituto Superior Técnico - and two Advisors - Tiago João Fazeres Ferradosa (also from CIIMAR) and Jorge Gonçalves. The team has now the total of 6 members, representing the Portuguese section in the YPN IAHR at the international level.

The IAHR Portugal YPN mission is to foster the relationships between young students, researchers and professional engineers interested in sharing experiences and knowledge in the field of hydro-environment engineering and research.
