CIIMAR launches is new Educational Offer for 2022/2023

 

The Educational Offer here presented is part of CIIMAR´s extensive and exciting Outreach Programme addressed to all society sectors.

 

This broad educational offer, under the responsibility of CIIMAR Communication Office, includes guided visits to CIIMAR, practical activities and lectures (presential or online), field activities (e.g. beach cleaning, observation of intertidal biodiversity, construction of ponds), and teachers' training actions. All activities are interconnected with the curricula of the different school cycles, allowing the correlation of these curricula to CIIMAR's areas of work and research, contributing to an increase in scientific knowledge, as well as the Ocean Literacy of the participants.

 

This program also includes the participation of several CIIMAR researchers, in "Conversas com um Cientista" sessions, where schools and students are connected with CIIMAR scientists on current topics of research carried out in the areas of Marine and Environmental Sciences.
