Alexandre da Silva Camarinha Moreira obtained their first degree in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto (FCUP) and the Abel Salazar Institute of Medical Sciences (ICBAS) in 2021. They are currently a master’s student in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology at ICBAS and FCUP, developing a dissertation under the program Blue Youg Talent Plus (BYT+) on the topic "Potential ecotoxicity of biopesticides to non-target soil organisms and impact on soil retention function". Their areas of interest include biochemistry, ecotoxicology, ecology and environmental protection.
