Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Lisbon since 2022, with a project thesis on the theme "Seasonal variation of the biochemical and bioactivity of three macroalgae (Ericaria selaginoides, Bifurcaria bifurcata and Codium sp.) of Cascais municipality". Worked for a year as a research fellow at EPPO-IPMA (Olhão Pilot Fish Farming Station), focusing on fish pathology, especially in the areas of parasitology and microbiology. Currently working as a research fellow on the EarlyCOD project - "Early feeding of cod combining cryoplankton and microfeeds to improve fish performance and quality".
