Cecilia Fanizza

I have a MSc in Marine Biology and am now a PhD student in Animal and Food Science (Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy) and in Ciencia y Tecnología de la Producción Animal (Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain), through a co-tutelage agreement. I deal with sustainable fish nutrition, researching and testing innovative and promising ingredients in cutting-edge farms, such as recirculating aquaculture and aquaponics systems. My research project is funded by ESF REACT-EU resources to promote a green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic, and involves three universities, a research centre and an aquafeed company.
