Researcher at the Laboratory of Coastal Biodiversity, CIIMAR – Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research. I completed my PhD in marine biology at Oviedo University (Spain) in 1999. Since then I have developed my research expertise as a marine ecologist with interests in ecology of marine invasions, impacts of climate change on marine systems, and the importance of biodiversity in the functioning of coastal ecosystems.
I am also involved in the Infrastructure and Maintenance services at CIIMAR.
