Amparo Celeste Gonçalves

BSc in Biology, MSc in Food Quality and Toxicology and PhD in Pharmacy-Bromatology, at University of Lisboa. Scientific researcher at Instituto Português do Mar e Atmosfera (IPMA, I.P.), associated researcher at CIIMAR. Scientific research in the field of quality of marine fish/shellfish and seafood, studying several aspects: freshness, sensory properties, texture traits and chemical/biochemical characteristics. Her expertise comprises also the application of innovative technologies for fish and shellfish preservation. Author or co-author of peer-reviewed articles (27). She has expertise in leadership of national and international R&D projects. Supervisor of MSc students, Co-supervisor of PhD students.
