Lúcia Guilhermino is Full Professor of ICBAS, University of Porto, leader of the Research Group of Contamination Pathways and Mechanisms of Toxicity and of the Research Team of Ecotoxicology, Stress Ecology and Environmental Health of CIIMAR, member of the ICES Working Group of Biological Effects of Contaminants, among other functions. She was member of CIIMAR Board of Directors, President of SETAC Europe, among other. She is/was coordinator of several research projects. Main research topics: biological and ecological effects of environmental contaminants (microplastics, nanomaterials, pharmaceuticals, oils, …) in relation to climate changes; environmental risk assessment.
