Rosário Martins is full professor at the School of Health of Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESS. PPorto) and member of the BBE group at CIIMAR. She holds a PhD in Biology (2006) a MSc in Hidrobiology (1999) and a BSc in Biology (1996) all by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. Her main research interest is focused in cyanobacteria, namely in the evaluation of the bioactive potential and ecotoxicology.
