Ana Couto is a post-doc researcher at the Nutrition and immunobiology research group from CIIMAR. She obtained her degree in 2004 in Biology from Aveiro University and her PhD in 2014 in Biology from Porto University. Ana’s research focus on aquaculture fish nutrition, particularly on the effects of dietary formulations in fish intestinal morphology, digestive physiology and defence mechanisms. Her research aims at developing cost-effective and environmental-friendly feeds for cultured fish. Ana is author of 21 scientific papers published in international journals.
