Paula Alexandra Morgado Canada

I am a biologist (FCUL) and still as an honors student I became interested in fish physiology. Later on, I focused my interest and gained experience in Aquaculture and went on Master studies in Aquaculture in Barcelona. Lately, I went on a PhD in Animal Science (ICBAS-UP) specialized in Nutrition and focused on protein and the potential for nutritional programming in fish larvae, working between CCMAR, ICBAS and CIIMAR. I am currently a post-doc in Madeira, where I work mostly on environmental risks for farmed fish. I keep my interest on fish nutrition, particularly on functional ingredients to promote fish health.
