Paulo Santos holds a master degree in Veterinary Medicine by the University of Porto since 2017 and is presently attending a master in Marine Biology - Marine Resources at Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar.  He collaborates with the group since 2017, being currently a research fellow in the framework of the project BE4AQUAHEALTH, with Prof. Teresa Baptista (MARE/IPL) as PI and funded by MAR2020. His research focus on fish immune status and welfare, with special emphasis on the immune response to infectious processes.
