Ralph Urbatzka is a postdoctoral researcher at CIIMAR. He graduated in Biology in 2002 and received his PhD in 2007 in Molecular Biology from the Humboldt-University Berlin, Germany. His current research interests focus on marine biotechnology, and more specifically on the bioactivity screening of marine organism for the discovery of novel compounds with anti-cancer and anti-obesity properties and the deciphering of their molecular mechanism. He is author of 37 scientific papers published in international journals.
