Ana Margarida Fernandes graduated in Aquatic Sciences in 2016 and received her Master degree in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology in 2018, both from the University of Porto. Her research interests focus on the identification and evaluation of potential biomarkers for the nutritional condition and immune status of fish, while assessing novel sustainable ingredients and formulations for aquafeeds. Ana is currently doing her PhD at Nord University (Norway) being founded by SPAROS, a company devoted to innovate in the development of new products and processes for fish feeding and nutrition.
