Diogo da Silva Molinos Peixoto

Diogo Peixoto is graduated in Biology by the University of Évora and holds a Master’s degree in Aquatic Biological Resources by the Faculty of Sciences - University of Porto. Currently he is a PhD candidate for the Animal Science Doctoral Programme from ICBAS - University of Porto. As member of A2S team since 2018, Diogo has been involved in several research projects related to nutritional immunology using model organisms with economic value for aquaculture industry. His PhD thesis is focused on the immunomodulatory, neuroendocrine and metabolic effects of amino acids through dietary supplementation, as a strategy to enhance farmed fish health and welfare.
