Bárbara Marlene Teixeira Pinheiro

Marlene Pinheiro graduated in Forensic Laboratorial Sciences by the University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS-CESPU) in 2015 and obtained her Master’s degree in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology by the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute (ICBAS) and the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) of the University of Porto (UP) in 2018. She is currently a PhD student at CIIMAR, in the Endocrine Disruptors and Emergent Contaminants (EDEC) team, and her research is mainly focused in exploring the effects of deep-sea mining associated stressors coupled with the effects of a changing climate.
