Raquel Abrunhosa Pinto

Raquel Pinto graduated in Biology in 2018, by the Biology Department of the University of Aveiro. During her graduation in Biology, she performed a curricular internship in MARE (Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre) of University of Coimbra studying diatom size variations at global and regional spatial scales. Currently, she’s taking her master’s degree in Water Quality Biology and Management (Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto). Her master’s thesis, developed in the METOX group, is focused on studying Raman spectroscopy applied to diatoms as a methodology for environmental and taxa diagnosis.
