Rafaela A. Santos graduated in Aquatic Sciences in 2014 and obtained a MSc in Aquatic Biological Resources in 2016 from the University of Porto. Since 2018 she is a FCT PhD student enrolled in the Biology doctoral programme. Her project and main research focus on the control of aquaculture bacterial diseases by taking advantage of the bioactive molecules of putative probiotics from the fish gastrointestinal tract.
