Rúben took his BSc in Biology at FCUP and holds MSc in Marine Sciences - Marine Resources from ICBAS both institutions from the University of Porto. Currently he is working as a PhD student at CIIMAR in the ECOBIOTEC group, studying the impacts of microplastic contamination on primary producers and associated ecosystem services.
