Débora Borges holds a PhD in intertidal ecology from the University of Southampton (UK). Past research includes the impact of human harvesting in limpet biological traits. Besides scientific research in intertidal biodiversity her main interests relate to science outreach as a liaison with the society. Currently she is a postdoc researcher at CIIMAR.
