Cláudia Rodrigues, biologist and graduate student researcher at CIIMAR Coastal Biodiversity group, is currently taking her master’s degree in Ecology and Environment at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Her thesis aims to optimize a cetacean occurrence dataset by applying methods for controlling data bias, and verification/validation processes. Cláudia is also a member of the CETUS Project and a former intern at Portuguese Wildlife Society (SPVS) and ECOMARE - Center for Research and Rehabilitation of Marine Animals (CPRAM). Her interests include marine ecology and conservation, and anthropogenic risks to marine life.
