I’ve started my scientific career during the academic internship in the bachelor’s degree in Biology, where I studied the predator-prey behaviour of the Iberian lynx and the European rabbit, using camera-traps in southern Portugal. In 2019, I finished my M.Sc. degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution where I addressed landscape connectivity as a core strategy for biodiversity conservation in arid regions. During my academic path I acquired knowledge in systematic conservation planning, biogeography and geographic information systems. Presently, my main goal is to contribute directly to biodiversity conservation, sustainability and a more informed society.
