Maria de Fátima Pinto Machado

Maria de Fátima Machado has a degree and a master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, concluded in 2016 and 2019 respectively. Since January 2020, she has been working in the Natural Products Research laboratory at the ICBAS. The area of scientific activity focuses on the isolation, purification, and structural elucidation of secondary metabolites of marine fungi, including their bioactivity.
